The principal
of PSE Engineering Solutions Inc., Bogdan A. Podgorniak, MASc,PEng,SE
has been involved in
design work on numerous landmark projects, many of which
involved well known
architectural firms, such as Cesar Pelli, I.M. Pei, Skidmore,
Owings & Merril, Kohn Pedersen Fox, Beyer
Blinder Belle, and many others.
As structural
engineers, we strive to provide our clients with
the most valuable
design solution.
Our strong
understanding of structural design principles supported by state of the art
knowledge of analysis
and design software, permits realization of the most willful
architectural ideas.
When justified, we do not avoid using innovative building
materials,
complicated structural systems and concepts.
Our project
experience ranges from small exhibit structures, renovations and additions
up to 12-story residential
buildings and represents a full spectrum of building types:
office, retail,
mixed-use, hotel, residential, educational and institutional.
We also offer
design of pedestrian and vehicular traffic bridges.
Our mandate is
to improve existing building structures as to provide safe and healthy
living environment,
which have the least impact and carbon foot print on our Planet
